Dr. Hernandez interviews Susan Fletcher, a Library Assistant in a public library system, about her journey as a first generation college student and professional. Susan's parents each had less than a high school education but strongly valued education as a path toward success. Susan started out at Pasadena City College before transferring to Cal-State Fullerton where she earned her Bachelor's degree. Today, Susan works for a large public library system.
